my day

well.. started off.. i went to work at 8:30.. had a fastpaced day at work until 1:30 :)

mailed 3 packages today.. including my first tampon testers :D i'm excited to hear back from it!

when i got home.. pretty much played with the girls for a minute, let them watch a small movie, and they all knocked out for a nap.. me too :D

i actually got a nap today! YES!
very rare for a good nap for a Mom of 3 YOUNG girls :D

after that.. we had dinner.. they got blue moon ice cream so their tongues were blue. :) hehehe

we goofed around for a while after that.. i chased them around the living room and down the hallway growling.. then grabbed em and bounced em on my legs. :)

we did a fun bath, jazmine got to do the toothbrushes herself. :)
she's so proud of herself when she gets to do something all by herself. :)

they watched the Grinch before bed.. then i had a tad bit of a fight over who was going to sleep where, cause they've been sleeping together for the last couple nights.. but livy kept slapping jaz, trying to get to sleep. lol

and THEN when everyone was finally quiet, they start shooting fireworks from the college behind us, making my 20 mth old freak out and start screaming, then jazmine *4 yr old* comes running down the stairs.

so i grab them all.. let them watch out the window from the crib together while i jump in the shower for a quick wash down. :) YAY! two birds with one stone. :)

then they went to sleep pretty easily. :)

now i'm sitting in front of the TV watching Julie and Julia.. eating mint chocolate ice cream :)

what i've been doing today Aug 3, 10

man.. i have literally been in my sewing room for almost the whole day. since lik 1:30 this afternoon.. took a small break to eat at like 4ish..

played for about half hour with my baby, took some pics my hubby needed for like 10 minutes.. but other than that.. either cutting, sewing, pinning.. wow.

long day :P have lots of snaps to do! hahaha

still have more mama cloth to finish sewing up so i can have my sewing basket back. i have three orders to cut out tonight.

i'm gonna have pizza later and put tomatos and onions on it. mmmmmmm.. ranch dip.

to begin..

well, as the title suggests, i'm a work at home mom. i LOVE to sew.. so i use that and make things for other people. :) bunches of things.. cloth diapers, burp cloths, bibs, mama cloth, wetbags, blankets, breast pads, diaper covers, fleece pants and shorts and bloomers.. more than i can't think of right now.. lol.

and the other part of the title?! i'm just your regular everyday mom.

i have three little girls, Jazmine was born in '06, Alivia was born in '07, Zoe was born in '08. I had three under 3 for a mth.

i work at kohls in adrian part time, my husband doesn't have a job right now (though he's been looking for one for a LONG time, to no avail).. he's working as an unpaid intern in Video Production.

1. my kids are growing SO fast! i just went through their clothes last night, 'cause i noticed a few things were getting too short and too tight.. well my almost 20 mth old is now in 2t clothing, my 3 year old is halfway into size 4, and my 4.5 year old is halfway into size 5! so had to make some changes in their wardrobe.

it's weird, seeing things that your 4 yr old used to wear.. and now your "baby" is wearing them.. for the last time. made me get a little choked up.

2. our God is an AWESOME God. man, i cannot believe just over a year ago, we moved into this townhouse because our house was foreclosed on.. and like many Americans these days, we had to file bankruptcy.

Now, we have a FANTASTIC church.. I am part of an awesome praise team.. and my business is growing!

Now if He could just change this weather every now and then. ;)

I love my kids.. my husband, my job, my business.. God has been very good to us.
Money DOES NOT buy happiness..
God brings it to us.. in the form of family and fulfilling lifestyle.

We may not be "rich".. but really? We are SO rich!
